It was great to meet and pray with the students of Gaithersburg High School. We had about 20 students, teachers and security. We prayed for the administration of the school, leaders of the country, and military. We also prayed that the gospel would go forth in Gaithersburg High School and the world. Here are some of the photos. As the flag was rising in the midst of our group, I thought about the great freedom we have to come before the Lord and give Him glory. Hope everyone’s SYATP went well. My prayer is that we will daily lift our schools, students and administration in prayer.

May we as ministers uphold what the apostle Paul proclaims in Acts 20:19-35 emphasis added. Oden quotes Richard Baxter in the Reformed Pastor 228-229.
Our general business – Serving the Lord in all humilty amid sorrows and trials.
Our special work – Keep watch over yourselves and over all the flock.
Our doctrine – Repentance before God and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.
The place and manner of teaching – I taught you in public and in your homes.
His diligence, earnestness and affection – I never ceased to counsel each of you and how I wept over you.
His faithfulness – I have kept back nothing, I have disclosed to you the whole purpose of God
His disinteredness and self-denial for the sake of the gospel – I have not wanted anyone’s money or clothes for myself; you all know that these hands of mine earned enough for the needs of myself and my companions. I showed you that it is our duty to help the weak in this way by hard word and that we should keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus, who Himself said, “Happiness lies more in giving than in receiving.”
His patience and perseverance – For myself, I set no store by life; I only want to finish the race and complete the task which the Lord Jesus assigned to me.
His prayerfulness – I commend you to God and to his gracious word, which has power to build you up and give you your heritage among all who are dedicated Him
His purity of conscience – That being so, I here and now declare that by no man’s fate can be laid at my door.
