Youth group will start on September 12, 2007. I’m looking forward to meeting. One of the main reasons is we will be meeting in our new youth room. I love how the room turned out and I hope you like it too. I want to hear all about your first few days of school. The main reason you should come is because we will be continuing our study of the book, Pursuit of Holiness by Jerry Bridges. We will be starting with chapter 5 because that’s where we left off from camp this summer. Bring your books and Bibles ready to learn. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend.

The passion blog posted a link to a new Passion Regional myspace page.

I created a facebook group called Upside Down Youth. If you have a facebook you can join our group. I posted some photos and a link to the blog. Check it out.

Thank you for all your prayers. My knee surgery went well. I was diagnosed with a torn ACL and a partially torn meniscus. However, he reported that my meniscus was not torn at all. What a miracle. All he had to do was put in my new ACL. I will have my knee brace removed tomorrow. Then, I will begin my physical therapy very soon.

Since moving to Maryland in 2002. I have been an avid fan of WGTS 91.9. It’s the local Christian radio station for the DC area. They are going through a tough time. Check out this link below written to all the listeners.

One of the articles stated that 91.9 is one of the most popular and listened to Christian radio stations in the nation.

Pray that the station will be able to stick around and if it is sold pray that it will be sold to a Christian group who will continue spreading the Gospel like 91.9 has been so faithful in doing.

Please pray for my knee surgery on Wednesday, August 15, 2007. It will take place at 6:00A.M. Thanks for your prayers.

I want to invite the guys to come to a Madden 08 video game day on Tuesday, August 14. I’m picking up the game in the morning and heading down to church. You can get there around 12:00pm. If you are interested we will put the projector up on the youth room wall and have a good time.

Check out the Burnison Family Blog to see the photos from the Mercy Me/Nationals Faith Night. I have a cd of photos for those in youth group. It has all the events we have done over the last couple years.

I purchased the tickets today for the Nationals game. We will be in section 459 which is in right center field. We will be leaving right after church. I’m really looking forward to seeing Mercy Me. I hear they put on a great show.

I received my results from my MRI. It is a lot more serious than earlier mentioned. My ACL is completely torn, meniscus tear, sprained LCL and sprained MCL. Surgery will be required. I will be meeting with my orthopedic doctor tomorrow to find out what steps will be next.

Thanks for your prayers and support.
